About the project
Makers for Health: Designing AI Tools for Global Wellness explores how creative technology can bridge health gaps in underserved communities. This project showcases two prototypes: an AI Health Literacy App that delivers culturally tailored, multilingual health education, and an AI Triage Assistant designed to guide users in identifying symptoms and seeking appropriate care. Both tools are rooted in design justice principles and developed with a focus on accessibility, empathy, and local context—demonstrating how makers can harness AI for equitable, community-driven health innovation.
